Job Title: Internal Auditor (1)

Qualifications:

Graduate of BS Accountancy. Must be CPA. Has 1-3 years of experience is an advantage.

Business Function Overview:

Prepares the annual plan and schedule of the audit which focuses on the high-risk areas. Conducts interviews, observation and vouching of documents to support the audit opinion and provides the necessary recommendations. Prepares draft of audit report findings to be reviewed by the Manager – Internal Audit before endorsing to concerned individuals. Consolidates documents and reports in preparation of monthly report to highlight the status of audit assignments currently in progress. Provides support to different sections/departments in risk assessment and controls within the company by evaluating proper action plan in solving the concerned matter with the approval of Manager – Internal Audit. Analyzes and validates audit issues raised by KCL-GIA in creating necessary action plan. Performs other tasks which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.



Job Title: Assistant Engineer, Piping (2)

Qualifications:

College Graduate of any engineering courses (Civil, Naval Architect, Marine Engineering, Industrial and Mechanical; with 1-2 years related of relevant work experience is advantage.

Business Function Overview:

Plans the daily work activities by checking the specifications and job order signed by the Owners Representative (OR) and base on the inspection onsite/on board to know what are the approved job and the materials and equipment that are needed at work. Plans the manpower allocation by analyzing the number of manpower needed for a certain work to ensure there is enough supply of workers. Schedules the work properly by coordinating with the project team during Vessel Safety Coordinator Committee Meeting (VSCC) to avoid work conflicts; endorses the work permits for the approval of the Project Manager. Prepares and approves various work forms such as Permit to work (PTW), Purchase Requisition (PR), Subcontractor Requisition (SCR), Work Acceptance Report (WAR), Inspection and Testing report and Issue Pass. Ensures that the job was carried out by checking the condition of the workplace and status of the work based on the job specification to meet target date of completion. Attends daily meetings such as Vessel Safety Coordinator Committee (VSCC) Meeting, Section Meeting and Project Meeting in accordance with the safety plans and to avoid incompatible schedule of different trades. Reports to Assistant Piping Superintendent to update the status of assigned job. Performs other tasks which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time. Does inventory of equipment and materials by manual checking to monitor the actual status of all the equipment. Conducts Take 5 Meetings daily to give work instructions and reminders to do the job safely in the absence of Leadman. Supervises housekeeping chores at the working area before and after work by planning for the space allocation following the 5S procedures. Implements strict compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and help ensure safe and secure work environment. Performs other tasks which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

 



Job Title: Assistant Officer, Subcontracting (1)

Qualifications:

Graduate of any four-year course; with at least 2 years’ experience in clerical field, Graduate of Engineering courses is preferable.

Business Function Overview:

Receives requisitions and coordinates with the trade in-charge to verify the work scope. Send out RFQs to qualified subcontractors or computes costs for tariff items. Screens and ensures subcon quotation is in line with work scope indicated in the Purchase Requisition (PR). Provides Commercial Department a copy of subcon quotation as reference. Coordinates with Commercial Department to verify the budget to a given work. Negotiates subcon quotations through verbal communication, telephone calls or emails to get the most competitive offer to a given work scope. Verifies work done by subcontractors thru on-site inspection. Prepares Canvass report containing at least 3 proposals from subcontractors and seek approval from authorized signatories. Computes and ensures amounts are accurate for Work Order (WO) such as scaffolding works, structural works, electrical works and piping works for new building, ship repair and maintenance projects. Prepares Work Order in the system and ensures approval. Maintains proper filling of all Work Order for yard copies including necessary attachments. Prepares the Computation Summary of subcon works being billed using the Work Completion Report (WCR) versus the Subcontractor’s Work Acceptance Report (SWAR). Performs risk and opportunity assessment which has impact on delivery of products and services, quality of works and safety aspect. Performs other tasks which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.



Job Title: Scaffolder (15)

Qualifications:

 Vocational graduate of Scaffold Erection NC II course in any Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) accredited training center with certification.

 

Business Function Overview:

Erects and dismantles scaffolding to provide work platforms at yard for temporary structures such as staging and seating to allow the workers reach the higher levels of building or ship structures during construction. Checks and prepares appropriate tools and materials like pipes, clamps, planks, rails, ratchet wires, ladders, harness, gloves spanners and cutter to be used in scaffolding works. Is responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites which includes removing debris and dangerous materials for safety purposes. Fits steel tubes and support braces together 

to form the scaffolding framework. Puts up scaffolds, rigs, guard rails and planks securely for safety of the workers. Creates a safety net and guard rails for construction workers to make sure the workers is safe while performing their job. Checks for weak areas and damage by visual inspection in the build scaffold or platforms for the safety of workers. Checks and maintains scaffolding equipment and scaffolding structures for safety and taking down scaffolding when the job is done. Cleans and lubricates machines, tools and equipment to remove grease, rust, and stains. Attends Take Five (5) Meetings daily to get work instructions and reminders to do the job safely. Performs housekeeping chores by putting the tools and equipment in a safe place and cleaning the area from wastes to eliminate hazards and maintain the safety of the working place.

 



Job Title: Shipfitter (15)

Qualifications:

Vocational graduate in any Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) accredited training center with certification.

Business Function Overview:

Follows specifications in approved Engineering plans as directed by Shipfitting Leadman. Prepares tool and equipment such as torch, mason, manual and auto-cutting machine, plum bob, hydraulic and hand tools to be used in a particular work. Lays out and fabricates structural parts such as plates and frames to be weld; and braces them in position within hull of ship for riveting or welding. Marks cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge to specify the exact measurement of plates in the assembly of ship. Shapes and cuts plates to the specified measurement using hand tools, manual and auto-cutting machines, and power saws. Rolls, bends, flanges plates and other heavy materials using plate rolls and bending brakes to shape up the part of the vessel. Crops out defects in work using various technologies, tools and equipment to show the quality of the work done and ensure the safety of workers. Trims all weldments prior to fit up works. Attends Take Five (5) Meetings daily to get work instructions and reminders to do the job safely. Performs housekeeping chores after fit up works by cleaning the area from wastes, welding buts to avoid accidents.
